
Chapter History

The Klassy Kappa Iota chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated was charted March 20th, 1976 on the campus of University of Arkansas at Fayetteville by two dynamic women; Dr. Margaret Clark and Ms. Jennifer Lee. Dr. Margaret Clark and Ms. Jennifer Lee saw a need for change on the university campus. A change that brought about the charter of one of them most active chapters on the University of Arkansas campus. The first group of esteemed women were name the "Perpetual 15."
